Graphic Design for Better Looking Website What Graphic Card is the Best for Me?
Jan 172010

Shows a Lenovo T400 playing Crysis using onboard graphics and then the newly released ViDock 2 which utilizes a standard desktop ATI 4670 graphics card. This graphics card connects to the computer over ExpressCard and allows you to beef up a standard business class machine (or an aging laptop) enough to play cutting edge games. This video was chopped from over 20 minutes down to just under 10. Enjoy and please leave feedback.

  10. 11thirtyfour says:

    Wait, so you need 2 screens for this thing to work?

  11. 11thirtyfour says:

    Maybe. Maybe not. And btw I am talking about Mass Effect 2. Thanks for reply, but that doesn’t answer my question about compatibility.

  12. ECOBigBoss says:

    Still very Incompatible My lap aint got an Xpress slot) , and the fact that you need an extra screen really fucks things up, however, Im glad that you´ll be able to play the latest games w/ ur lappy

  13. samuelu21352135 says:

    @11thirtyfour
    you dont need the vidock to play mass effect you can run it right off you laptop from stock

  14. 11thirtyfour says:

    I have HP Compaq 6735b laptop; ADM Athlon(tm)X2 DualCore QL-60 1,90 GHz; 4GB RAM; Windows Vista; ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics;

    Will ViDock be compatible with my system? And off topic – will I, be able to run Mass Effect 2 on this set up, and at what detail will be able to run ME2 with ViDock (if compatible), provided that FPS doesn’t go below ~30(+-)?

    Please answer.
    Thanks in advance :)

    Such a huge breakthrough in laptop technology, I’m getting one for Christmas!
    Though just to check, does anyone know if this works with the Toshiba Satellite L305?
    According to the compatibility list for the ViDock Gfx it does, but it may (Probably not) have stopped working with the model after the upgrade to ViDock 2

  16. NextGenerationpVp says:

    wow that really makes a huge difference is do you have to use another monitor or can you just plug it in and use your laptop monitor?

  17. valcamas says:

  21. valcamas says:

  24. x808StyleZ says:

    same questions as him, reply please

  25. Xantexhunter says:

    Sucks for me, my laptop is a Dell E1505. I would love to get this for my laptop so i could play Left4dead at max settings, but unfortunately the ViDock is not compatible with my laptop. :(

    Since my laptop can only handle 2gb of RAM, and i’m running Win XP, my laptop wouldn’t be able to allocate enough resources for the ViDock to work properly. Ugh, such is life i suppose.
