Classic Game Room reviews V8 SUPERSTARS RACING for Playstation 3 PS3 available at the Playstation Network as a download game with full trophies, including platinum! This CGR review of V8 Superstars Racing on PS3 has gameplay from V8 Superstars Racing on Playstation 3 showing V-8 Super Stars Racing game play in HD. Race cars in the game include BMW M3, M5 and 550 as well as Audi RS4 and Jaguar. There are four different difficulty settings and a “simulation” mode, but it’s all basically arade style driving and fairly easy at that. Graphics are great for a download game and audio quality with surround sound is excellent.
Devil Survivor Overclocked review. Classic Game Room reviews DEVIL SURVIVOR OVERCLOCKED for Nintendo 3DS from Atlus. Part of the Shin Megami Tensei series, Devil Survivor Overclocked is a turn based strategy game (like Final Fantasy Tactics) where players move characters on a grid and attack enemies using demons! Devil Survivor was originally released on the Nintendo DS in 2009 and tells an awesome tale of teenagers trapped inside Tokyo as the city is locked down and attacked by demons and other mayhem! Buy demons, fuse them together to make more powerful demons and fight to survive! This CGR Devil Survivor Overclocked video review shows gameplay drom Devil Survivor Overclocked which features a few 3D cut scenes and demon fusion graphics, enhanced audio, new voice dialog and a new 8th day epilogue.
Classic Game Room reviews GAUNTLET: DARK LEGACY for Nintendo Gamecube from Midway, also available on Playstation 2 PS2 an original Xbox (played for this review using a Nintendo Wii with Gamecube controller). This CGR review of Gauntlet Dark Legacy has Gauntlet Dark Legacy game play from Nintendo Gamecube showing Gauntlet game play in HD action.
Classic Game Room reviews PLANTS VS. ZOMBIES for Nintendo DS from PopCap Games. The Pop Cap PC classic makes an excellent Nintendo DS release that works well with the touch screen and stylus control. Graphics are lacking compared to iPad, PC and Xbox 360 but the gameplay is the same. Play through an adventure mode and unlock new plants, challenge friends in a Versus mode and play mini-games. Plants vs. Zombies is fun no matter what game console or platform you play it on. This CGR review of Plants vs Zombies has Plants vs. Zombies gameplay on Nintendo DS showing Plants vs Zombies game play in HD.
Classic Game Room reviews FATAL FURY for Sega Genesis, the classic 1991 fighting game by SNK for the Neo-Geo. This lackluster port of Fatal Fury for the Mega Drive is from Takara and was released in 1993 for Sega Genesis (Megadrive) and features slower gameplay as well as muddy graphics and awful music. Couldn’t the Genesis do more? Hell yes, which is why this is so disappointing. It’s as if they were trying to make the NeoGeo look better, which it did, but still… come on! This port of the game for Genesis is terrible and should just be avoided today. Download Fatal Fury for PS3 or Wii or pick it up on Neo Geo or Playstation 2 instead.

Classic Game Room reviews FATAL FURY for the Playstation PS3 from the Neo-Geo Station on the Playstation Network where you can download Neo Geo games without having to pay $500 for them on eBay! Fatal Fury is actually a good bit less than that, but you get the point… Originally released in 1991, Fatal Fury is the first SNK fighting game and the beginning of so many awesome games like The King of Fighters!

Crysis 2 arrives to melt graphic cards and melt eyes – but could it be more than just a pretty face? A nano suit with stealth and armor powers, an alien invasion in New York city, and possibly the best graphics of any game on the market, could Crysis 2 be the FPS to beat? Alex, Dan, and Jeff report from the front lines. Be sure to check back tomorrow when we play Media Mashup!
The graphics on the 360 and PS3 are comparable to the latest PC games, yet they use graphics cards from 2005/2006. Why is this? And what’s the point of a better graphics card if Forza Motorsport 3 looks just as good as a PC game with the latest graphics card?
