hey dude, a little help here, i overclocked it step by step 10 mhz more every time, so now I’m still overclocking and now my graphic card is like 30 mzh (core clock) faster, all bencharchs are not crashing (3D Mark06 proffesional) BUT I DONT GET ANY MORE FPS THAN USUALY IN BENCHMARKS, is that ok? I always aplay and save after good overclocking, just tell me if it is ok with that, tnx

It’s all about what type of SLOT you have in your computer as well. Make sure you can determine whether or not you have an AGP slot, PCI slot, or PCI-e SLOT (which is the most up to date slot to have.)
Try downloading ATItool like he stated in the video and run a test on it.
Overclocking is something you have to toy with, Trial and error.
Do more research on OC’ing before trying.

for my gtx 260, the only tweaks i have on that page are the core and memory clock..and the memory clock doesnt even go as high as the stock speed..weird :-s

By ATI Technologies. 128MB memory size (i want to over clock to 256mb) i think i got 2.0GHz or 3.0Ghz Could i overclock it without damage?(after i get my ps3 in 4 – 3 weeks im going to get a new graphics card for comp, any sugestions on what to get i was thinking about a Nvidia Gforce 8800 GTX is that good? and could i run it on my comp? i have a RADEON Graphics card 128mb can i make it 256mb? but make a game run in low detail, would that do any harm?
Hiya, i have a GTX280 and when using Rivatuner v2.24 i don’t have the option to change the shader clock speeds. Any ideas how i can sort this out.

@OverclockerJames the reason i’m trying to underclock is so that my fps drops from about 1300 to 500, because my game won’t run properly if fps is too fast. I lowered all the settings to the lowest point on the slider, but it dropped only to about 800. Is there i way i can drop it lower?
@Andreas958 – No. Infact it can extend life as the card will run cooler

… i play games on my laptop. its hp dv9000, win 7, with nvidia 8600,32 bit. i dnt have a fan for the card.but everytime i make any changes in order to overclock and then apply it, it duznt seem to affect at all. infact it changes bk to the original. i even tried saving it, but they’ve been saved in the original (default). plz can u help?
its already burning and melting my laptop but im still going to overclock it, im an idiot T.T
