I think this is called SLI… Although i am looking at graphics cards and it doesnt say anywhere if they are sli compatible.
Am i correct in saying Sli is where you can use 2 graphics cards in 2 pci slots and it adds both graphics memorys up to make a total?
Can people give me advice/info on using 2 graphics cards at once please, im confused?
Cheers!
SLI is where you put a bridge between two cards. you can only do this is you have more then one card’s that are SLI compatible. And you need a SLI compatible motherboard and the bridge connector to go Between the cards! And a OS that will support SLI or drivers!
If it doesn’t say SLI it probably isn’t compatible and if its not an nvidia card it is for sure it is not sli even if the specs say you can run dual cards, nvidia is not going to sell the rights to sli to ATI
