    Ok, that should be enough for run it playable. Maybe you are using too high settings? I have dual core 2,3Ghz, 3gb ram & 7900GTO 512mb and i can run it playable with high settings so i think it should work on your rig too.

  9. new9876 says:

    I have intel Dual core 2,0Ghz and 2gb ram

  10. StalkieG says:

    Well i think you should get much more frames so you have some problem with your rig. Updated drivers? What kind of CPU you have?

  11. new9876 says:

    someone send me a message of the fastest fps chip at the moment? I dont care about price or slots just the single fastest. That means not double or quad guys lol

  14. Protoking says:

    Yea 2007 is one of my favorite years but it was a terrible year for PC gaming.

    Even today there are no DX10 exclusives.

    And the mid range cards really sucked. In some tests the 7600GT was beating the 8600GT and the 7900GT was going for around the same price as the 8600GTS only the 7900GT kicked it’s ass!

  15. JonAvalon says:

    lol ah yea, the 8600GTS with the molex connector version. I remember i was so giddy and excited to get this very model, couldn’t afford either. Man 2007 seems like ages ago, i remember how we were all gearing up for DX10 and everything. Only to have DX10 to be super over hyped and somewhat disappointing. The 8600GTS alone was barely enough to run DX10 in high settings.

    I just waited and a year later ended up getting the 9600GT, which pwns a pair of the 8600GTS in SLI. Good budget card.

  16. Protoking says:

    Ah the 8600GTS, I really wanted one two years ago, but could not afford it.

    Ended up getting a 2600XT instead.

    Using a 9600GSO now tho.

    512mb 8600GTS is actually really hard to find now on newegg or tiger direct.

  17. IanTBH says:

    Of course! :D … Well, if you’ve got a PCI-E slot.

  18. UltramanStriker says:

    can it fit in my windows vista server?

  19. IanTBH says:

    More than enough. :)

  20. UltramanStriker says:

    is it good for games like Aion??

  21. darkstar2721 says:

    well because its a video care prices are always droping but as of now I imagine its 50 or 60 bucks

  22. AllenDr93 says:

    I like this video card. although I have only 256mb on my 8600gts.

  23. kidowner says:

    yea.. i meant PCI express not PCI.. coz i know AGP is faster than PCI. and there is a PCI express x32 now? :O

  24. sc0pl355 says:

    PCI= 1,067 Mbit/s
    AGPx1= 2,133 Mbit/s
    AGP 8x 64-bit= 34,133 Mbit/s
    PCI Express 2.0 (x16 link)= 64,000 Mbit/s
    PCI Express 2.0 (x32 link)= 128,000 Mbit/s
